Join Hands

This initiative may be an individual idea, but it is a community movement. Join me and the people who are already a part, of this movement. Let’s come together and give back to the community. Let the book lying in your home’s library be picked up by an intrigued young mind who has the potential to change his or even the world.

Allow literacy to become common. Share the power of knowledge. Let intellectual stimulation thrive. Help these children unlock their unending potential. You are a catalyst in this change and a few years down the line when you hear a story about the next author or debater or academic genius who has come out of one of these schools that we together are supporting, you will know what donating that book meant.

The cause is great, and the effect will be greater. It probably does not cost you anything, but to a child who is longing to hold a book in his hand, it means power, knowledge, inspiration, or maybe just a much-needed escape. As an individual who has had the privilege of being given an education and the luxury of libraries, I feel an added sense of responsibility to share this power of reading with children who have not been given that chance to explore the world of books.

The children may or may not become avid readers, but they must have that choice! I hope to expand on this initiative and spread the power of reading to children across India.

If we have a chance to help ignite even one child, I believe it is worth it. So, let’s come together, and through our collective effort let’s ignite the future of our nation!
